Certified Charge Master Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Master Coding Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze charge patterns and identify coding or billing issues
• Review and update preference lists for accuracy and coordinate audit findings
• Assist departments with coding questions and conduct revenue capture reviews

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Health Information Management, business administration, or a medically related field and/or certified professional coder (CPC)
• Minimum of 5 years hospital experience
• At least 3 years of experience in coding, billing, and/or patient accounting
• Coding certification such as CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines
