Certified Chargemaster Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chargemaster Analyst II who will manage the EPIC build and maintenance of charge codes and fee schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Epic build and testing support related to chargemaster for various projects and initiatives
• Conduct annual reviews of the chargemaster with clinical operations to ensure compliance and revenue capture
• Provide education and guidance to revenue cycle and clinical operations regarding chargemaster issues

Required Qualifications

• Current certification through AAPC, AHIMA, HFMA, or similar medical coding group
• Demonstrated experience in revenue cycle and chargemaster functions
• Intermediate knowledge of Epic chargemaster build and maintenance
• Ability to work effectively in a clinical operational area or revenue integrity team
• Flexibility and adaptability to change
