Certified Chargemaster Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance revenue cycle operations, the full-time remote Senior Chargemaster Analyst will oversee Chargemaster maintenance, manage CDM updates, and analyze charge edits while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Chargemaster maintenance to ensure proper revenue generation and compliance with third-party and government requirements
• Manage quarterly and annual CDM updates, including tracking, review, and departmental communication
• Analyze charge edits and claim denials, developing solutions and educating staff on billing and coding errors

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of healthcare experience with knowledge of hospital operations and payment systems
• Healthcare certification program (CPC, RHIT) or equivalent clinical certification
• Understanding of CDM methodology and various coding systems used in healthcare
• Experience with healthcare computer software, including EMR and billing systems
• Proven ability to develop and conduct education on billing, charging, and coding processes
