Certified Clinical Quality Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Certified Clinical Quality Analyst will serve as a liaison between coding teams and providers, provide coding education, and conduct audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in documentation and coding practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver expert guidance to resolve inquiries and concerns between coding teams and providers
• Collaborate with Edits and Denials teams to analyze trends and implement educational initiatives
• Conduct annual provider audits and provide targeted education to maintain coding compliance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC (CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT)
• 3+ years of Physician medical coding experience in a multi-specialty clinic
• 2+ years of experience with Evaluation and Management coding and surgical coding
• Intermediate knowledge of MUE and NCCI classification and reimbursement structures
