Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder 2 to manage coding tasks for various medical encounters remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to track un-coded charts and ensure proper coding assignments
• Review medical records to assign accurate ICD-10 CM/PCS codes and maintain medical record integrity
• Report safety-related incidents and comply with regulatory standards and company policies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Certification such as CPC, CSS, CCA, RHIT, RHIA, or CPMA required
• 1-2 years of relevant coding experience required
• Proficient in using computers and basic software programs
• Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy is essential
