Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing chart reviews and abstract diagnosis codes
• Provide training and education to providers on risk adjustment knowledge and coding updates
• Coordinate management activities with other departments, such as Finance and Claims

Qualifications:

• 2 years previous coding experience
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
• Familiarity with HCC Risk Adjustment Model and experience with Risk Adjustment Data Validation (preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred)
