A company is looking for a Certified Coder - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing chart reviews and abstract diagnosis codes to ensure compliance
• Provide training and education to providers on risk adjustment and coding updates
• Coordinate management activities with other departments and maintain professional knowledge

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
• 2 years of previous coding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of the latest coding guidelines and HIPAA compliance
