Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder-PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews and provide corrections for inpatient medical records to ensure coding accuracy and compliance
• Perform DRG validation based on clinical documentation and coding
• Assist in audits of billed services and stay updated on coding guidelines and systems

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One or more relevant coding credentials (CCS, CPC, CIC)
• At least 1 year of inpatient medical coding experience with DRG validation
• Passing scores on job-related pre-employment assessments
• Experience in coding or medical billing quality control is preferred
