A company is looking for a Certified Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Determines accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes for billing services
• Maintains compliance with payer reimbursement policies and federal health care program requirements
• Provides training and education on coding and compliance issues to staff and providers

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Certification in CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or specialty coding
• One to three years' experience in coding and reimbursement for physician services
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding systems
• Understanding of third-party fee profiles and reimbursement requirements
• Analytical ability to gather and interpret data and implement solutions
