Certified Coder Appeals Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fraud Waste Abuse and Error Appeals Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily and monthly reporting and process improvement initiatives
• Manage daily inventory tasks and respond to escalations in a timely manner
• Provide training and support to production staff and facilitate team meetings

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Certified Coder AHIMA or AAPC Certified coder (CPC, CCS, CCA)
• 2+ years of experience as a certified coder with coding experience in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10
• 2+ years of experience in Fraud, Waste, Abuse and Error Clinical Appeals
• Understanding of health insurance principles and regulatory guidelines
