Job Summary

To support the implementation of medical and payment policies, the full-time Payment and Medical Policy Coordinator will coordinate cross-functional activities, ensure business readiness, and manage testing and post-implementation validation while working remotely from the greater Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinates cross-functional activities for policy implementation, ensuring alignment across various teams
  • Supports business readiness activities, including impact assessments and implementation plans
  • Manages testing activities related to policy implementation, ensuring documentation and communication of results
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business, Finance, or related discipline, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in health plan operations, project coordination, or policy implementation
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Coder (CCS or CPC) from AHIMA or AAPC
  • Familiarity with claims systems and policy governance
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills across multiple teams
