Certified Coder CPC, CSS

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder CPC, CSS (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing member medical chart reviews and accurately abstracts ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Documents findings from chart reviews and provides feedback to leadership and providers
• Facilitates training and education for the provider network on coding updates and risk adjustment

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of medical coding experience or equivalent education and experience
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
• Knowledge of CMS and AHA clinic coding
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
