Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder I.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizes and prioritizes work, reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate ICD and CPT codes
• Maintains coding accuracy of 90% or better while adhering to billing requirements and coding standards
• Builds positive relationships with providers and assists in training and mentoring other coders

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 1 year of ICD-10 coding experience in a medical practice (Preferred)
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) required upon hire
