Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II ProFee ED.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstracts data from medical records into Epic and 3M 360 for case summaries
• Codes diagnoses and procedures according to ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines
• Responsible for coding Surgical Records, Evaluation & Management Encounters, and ED records

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient multidisciplinary coding experience required
• At least one coding certification required (e.g., CPC, COC, CPC-P)
• Other specialty certifications from AAPC or AHIMA will be considered
