Certified Coder II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II to review and process complex specialty clinic professional charges.

Key Responsibilities

• Applies coding principles consistent with government regulatory standards and payer specific guidelines
• Codes complex office, surgical, and hospital professional charges for assigned providers
• Reviews all ICD, E&M, CPT, and HCPCS codes to ensure documentation supports all services rendered

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of professional fee coding experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPC or CCS-P Certification
• Two years of surgical fee coding experience preferred
• Experience with GECB/IDX and Cerner preferred
