Key Responsibilities

• Assigns accurate diagnostic and procedure codes for inpatient hospital accounts
• Coordinates with clinical documentation and quality teams to validate coding support
• Monitors work queues to ensure timely charging of records

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Two years of inpatient coding experience
• CCS, RHIA, and/or RHIT preferred
• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC required
• State-specific professional licenses may be necessary
