Certified Coder - Orthopedic Surgery

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Certified (Remote) - Orthopedic Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures for coding
• Code evaluations and management to appropriate CPT and ICD-9 codes
• Assist physicians with documentation and coding queries, and prepare case reports for billing

Required Qualifications

• Must possess one of the following coding credentials: CCA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, or CPC-H-A
• No specific work experience is required
• A diploma, certification, or degree is not required
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred
• Associate degree in Medical Coding & Billing is preferred
