Certified Coder - Remote

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder to ensure accurate and thorough documentation for reimbursement capture.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizes and prioritizes work, reviews medical records, and assigns appropriate ICD and CPT codes
• Maintains coding accuracy of 90% or better while complying with coding standards and regulations
• Mentors other coders and assists in the development of coding policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Minimum Required)
• 1 year of experience in ICD Coding (Medical Practice) (Preferred)
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) certification (Required upon hire)
