Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews medical record documentation to select appropriate billing codes
• Codes evaluation and management using CPT and ICD-9 codes
• Collaborates with physicians to ensure accurate documentation and coding

Required Qualifications

• Must have one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (CCA, CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A)
• No specific work experience is required
• A diploma, certification, or degree is not required
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred
• Previous coding experience or an associate degree in a related field is preferred
