Certified Coder Trainer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Trainer I who will develop and conduct training programs for the Payment Integrity department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training needs analyses to determine specific training needs for staff
• Identify, select, and develop training programs and aids
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and maintain records of training activities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of training experience, preferably in a managed care or healthcare environment
• Coding experience (Certified Professional Coder) is highly preferred
• Prior training experience in a virtual environment is highly preferred
