Certified Coding Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Analyst to support the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) program.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret healthcare procedures and services into medical code sets under the NCCI program
• Review and develop NCCI edit programs to prevent improper payments
• Evaluate claim information to ensure compliance with CMS payment and coverage policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Active medical coding certification (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H)
• 5+ years of experience in interpreting and coding HCPCS/CPT codes
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid payment and coding policies
• Thorough knowledge of remote working and virtual collaboration
