Job Summary

A company is looking for an Edit Configuration Analyst I.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze billing for medical appropriateness and accuracy of charges
• Research and interpret coding and billing standards while performing data analysis and testing procedures
• Prepare findings and documentation, produce reports, and communicate results to cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inpatient/outpatient medical coding and billing
• 2+ years of experience with coding guidelines and resources
• 2+ years of experience reading and abstracting medical codes from medical records
• Required AAPC and/or AHIMA certification (must be active and maintained)
• Basic SQL experience and intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word
