Certified Coding Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Content Center of Excellence, the full-time Content Analyst I will research and implement medical policies, analyze clinical content metadata, and collaborate with client teams to address inquiries related to medical policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coding and industry expertise to create and maintain clinical coding edits
• Assist in identifying opportunities for new medical policies and review changes to existing policies
• Collaborate with QA to validate policy changes and maintain documentation for the medical policy library

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience; CPC or equivalent coding certification required if no degree
• Minimum of 2 years clinical coding experience, preferably in a payer setting
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with internet-based research related to coding
• Familiarity with claims payment methodologies and medical policy rules preferred
• Ability to analyze complex data and manage multiple projects effectively
