Job Summary
To support the Content Center of Excellence, the full-time Content Analyst I will research and implement medical policies, analyze clinical content metadata, and collaborate with client teams to address inquiries related to medical policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide coding and industry expertise to create and maintain clinical coding edits
- Assist in identifying opportunities for new medical policies and review changes to existing policies
- Collaborate with QA to validate policy changes and maintain documentation for the medical policy library
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience; CPC or equivalent coding certification required if no degree
- Minimum of 2 years clinical coding experience, preferably in a payer setting
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with internet-based research related to coding
- Familiarity with claims payment methodologies and medical policy rules preferred
- Ability to analyze complex data and manage multiple projects effectively
