Certified Coding Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Facility Coding & Reimbursement Team, the full-time remote Certified Coding Analyst II will research complex coding and reimbursement issues, evaluate regulatory changes, and collaborate with various departments to ensure payment accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, analyze, and implement coding and reimbursement policies and procedures
• Coordinate data collection and administrative functions for coding, reimbursement, and billing changes
• Provide coding consultations and develop educational materials for staff training

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years in a corporate environment)
• 3 years of experience with Medical/Clinical Coding
• Coding certification from a nationally recognized coding organization is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of claims, customer service, and reimbursement methodologies, particularly with BlueCross BlueShield or Medicare
