Certified Coding and Billing Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead, Coding & Billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and audit medical records for accurate coding and make necessary corrections
• Manage returned claims and monitor daily missing charges and Payer Par
• Provide training for new employees and assist with inbound calls from patients and staff

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Dermatology Coder (CDC); Certified Professional Biller (CPB) is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in medical coding/reimbursement, preferably in dermatology
• Strong knowledge of ICD10-CM and CPT coding principles and reimbursement systems
• Ability to work during high volume periods and possess working knowledge of Microsoft and payer software
