Certified Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Auditor (Remote based in US).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular audits of medical records, coding, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Provide guidance on complex diagnosis and procedure questions to the coding team
• Identify coding errors and collaborate with the team to implement corrective actions and training

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• RHIT, RHIA, and/or CCS credential required
• Minimum of 5 years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines (e.g., ICD-10, PCS) and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
