Certified Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Auditor, Revenue Optimization (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Audit medical records to identify missed charges and coding inconsistencies
• Perform Root Cause Analyses and prepare reports on common billing issues
• Provide coding support and conduct ad-hoc audits as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years coding experience
• Must have an approved coding credential through AAPC or AHIMA
• Must obtain at least one additional certification (CANPC or CPMA) within 1 year of employment
• Extensive knowledge of medical billing software and electronic medical records
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Excel, including basic formulas and pivot tables
