Certified Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Auditor to ensure accurate medical coding and billing while optimizing revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of coder and auditor work to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
• Prepare and present audit reports to stakeholders
• Identify coding discrepancies and provide feedback to improve accuracy

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC; CPMA preferred
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, and E/M coding
• Experience as a medical coding auditor for various healthcare encounters
