Certified Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in Regulatory Audits (RADV and HRADV) as an experienced coder
• Review patient records for compliance with documentation standards and coding accuracy
• Identify coding improvement opportunities and ensure adherence to coding guidelines and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3 years of RADV experience; or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Proficient knowledge of CMS HCC model and guidelines
• Prior experience auditing medical records
• Active coding certification (CRC, RHIA, RHIT, or similar)
• Proficiency in ICD 10 coding
