Certified Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Auditor to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Audits and reviews documentation for compliance with coding regulations
• Provides educational opportunities for coders, practice managers, and providers
• Coordinates internal and external audits and assists in developing an internal audit program

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of coding and billing experience
• Current CPC or CCS coding certification
• Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) certification must be obtained within one year of hire
• Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines
• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and health information management procedures
