Certified Coding Auditor - Oregon

Job Summary

Focused on reviewing documentation and coding, the full-time Certified Coding Auditor - Oregon will ensure accurate coding and claim submission while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines and audit standards, working remotely from the KPNW region.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform documentation and coding reviews across various specialties within assigned work queues
• Maintain current knowledge of coding and documentation standards to ensure compliance with regulations
• Address complex coding issues and participate in project work as assigned

Required qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum one (1) year of professional coding experience
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder, Registered Health Information Technician, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical terminology
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
