Certified Coding Auditor - Oregon

Job Summary

Experienced in healthcare coding, the full-time Certified Coding Auditor - Oregon will perform documentation and coding reviews, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with regulatory guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct documentation and coding reviews across various specialties as assigned
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and regulatory guidelines, escalating trends and issues as necessary
• Assist with complex coding issues and participate in project work as assigned

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a healthcare setting
• At least one (1) year of professional coding experience
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder, Registered Health Information Technician, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Medical Terminology
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
