Job Summary

Focused on the review of documentation and coding, the full-time Certified Coding Auditor - Oregon will ensure accurate coding and claim submission while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines and audit standards in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform documentation and coding reviews across various specialties as assigned
• Maintain current knowledge of coding and documentation regulations, escalating trends and issues as needed
• Assist with complex coding issues and project work as assigned

Required qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum one (1) year of professional coding experience
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder, Registered Health Information Technician, or similar credential
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Medical Terminology
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
