Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Coding Consultant - PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign precise codes to ensure accurate coding aligned with client needs
• Conduct data quality reviews of records to assess compliance with official coding and documentation guidelines
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities and coding issues while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of coding experience
• AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, CRC)
• Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software
• Required to take and pass annual Introductory HIPAA examination and other assigned testing
