Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Coding Consultant to provide consulting services and educational support in medical coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign precise codes to ensure accurate coding aligned with client needs
• Conduct data quality reviews of records to assess compliance with official coding and documentation guidelines
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities and coding issues while promoting a culture of compliance

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of coding experience
• AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
• Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software
• Must take and pass annual Introductory HIPAA examination
