Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prepay Coding Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize resources to identify appropriate medical codes and their applicability
• Manage multiple work demands while maintaining productivity and turnaround time standards
• Educate and mentor others to improve medical coding quality

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certified Coder with credentials from AAPC (CPC) or AHIMA (CCS, RHIT, RHIA)
• 3+ years of CPT & ICD coding experience in surgical, hospital, or clinic settings
• Intermediate proficiency with PC-based software
• Must be 18 years of age or older
