Certified Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

Ensuring coding data integrity, the full-time remote Certified Coding Coordinator will review diagnosis and procedure code assignments, conduct internal quality audits, and provide coding education and support throughout the Health System.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts internal quality reviews and audits, monitoring and reporting issues and trends
• Presents coding education and training to staff and leadership, assisting with the development of subject matter experts
• Reviews coded claims data and responds to coding inquiries, providing explanations for proper code assignments

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Coding-related certification from AHIMA or AAPC
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
