Certified Coding Denials Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PRN Coding Denials Manager to oversee the investigation and resolution of third-party insurance coding denials.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and research coding denials and identify root causes for resolution
• Assist in developing preventative measures based on denial patterns and trends
• Organize work to meet productivity goals and ensure compliance with coding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of coding experience, preferably in profee surgeries and various specialties
• Strong background in Revenue Cycle Management
• National certification through AAPC or AHIMA is required
• Must be certified through AHIMA (CCS, RHIT, or RHIA)
• Advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems
