Certified Coding Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Educator.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage the coding education program for staff and stakeholders
• Monitor coding quality, provide feedback, and develop educational plans based on identified needs
• Maintain knowledge of coding regulations and update staff on changes

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist-Physician (CCS-P) credential
• Minimum of five years of multi-specialty coding experience
• Preferred knowledge in OBGYN, Ophthalmology, and Surgery
• Previous teaching and/or training experience is desired
