Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinician Coding Liaison - Orthopedics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver proactive coding education and lead onboarding and compliance training for clinicians
  • Provide individualized documentation feedback and serve as the primary contact for coding inquiries
  • Monitor Epic work queues and collaborate across departments to enhance documentation practices
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Coding Specialist (CCS), Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P), or Professional Coder (CPC) certification
  • Completion of advanced training through a recognized or accredited program; high school diploma or GED required
  • Typically requires 4 years of experience in expert-level professional coding
  • Advanced knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
