Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time remote Certified Coding Liaison will provide education to physicians on coding related to Risk Adjustment, Quality Measures, and Medicare Wellness Visits, while conducting documentation reviews and developing educational programming.
Key responsibilities
- Provide accurate coding education to physicians and support staff through virtual meetings and presentations
- Conduct research to update educational materials and interpret changes in coding regulations
- Plan and deliver ongoing training sessions for providers and maintain project work lists to meet deadlines
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- One of the following certifications: CCS, CPC, CCS-P, CDEO, CRAC, CPMA, or CCA
- Five years of experience in outpatient physician documentation and Risk Adjustment, with two years in a multi-specialty practice
- Advanced knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and compliance requirements
- Experience in adult learning principles and providing education and training
