Certified Coding Manager

Job Summary

To advance a collaborative Revenue Cycle team, the full-time Certified Coding Manager will manage coding operations, train staff on compliance and coding excellence, and develop reports to identify performance improvements in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Set daily priorities and monitor coding accounts while training coding specialists on diagnoses and procedure coding
• Supervise, hire, and develop coding staff through professional development and performance feedback
• Analyze data to recommend solutions for operational improvements and ensure compliance with coding regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 7-10 years of experience in revenue cycle operations with 5-7 years in a supervisory role
• Certification in billing or coding (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CPC-H)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in developing and implementing coding education programs
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet departmental goals
