Certified Coding Manager
Job Summary
Providing enterprise leadership for coding accuracy and compliance, the full-time Certified Coding Manager will oversee audits, education programs, and regulatory adherence while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver educational programs on coding compliance and documentation for staff and physicians
- Conduct and coordinate ongoing audits to ensure coding accuracy and adherence to regulations
- Serve as a subject matter expert on coding rules, regulations, and documentation standards across various services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in coding, auditing, and education, including at least 2 years in a related role
- EPIC experience is required
- CCS - Certified Coding Specialist certification is required
- Experience in an academic medical center is preferred
