Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Quality Analyst - Professional Billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a monitoring system for the QA program structure
• Conduct reviews for coding quality, analyze errors, and provide feedback and educational opportunities
• Prepare summary reports of coding review results as requested

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Program Graduate; two years of relevant coding experience may substitute for the program
• Experience with coding concepts such as CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS
• Three years of progressive coding experience required
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Coding Specialist Physician-Based (CCS-P) required upon hire
• For HCC-specific roles, a Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification is required within one year
