Certified Coding Quality Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Quality Analyst - Professional Billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a monitoring system for the QA program structure
• Conduct coding quality reviews, analyze errors, and provide feedback and education to staff
• Prepare summary reports of coding review results as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Program Graduate, or two years of relevant coding experience
• Experience with coding concepts such as CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS for non-HCC roles
• Three years of progressive coding experience or experience in HCC Risk Adjustment Coding
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or similar upon hire
• For HCC-specific roles, Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) within one year is required
