Certified Coding Quality Analyst

Job Summary

Conducting documentation and coding reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, the full-time remote Certified Coding Quality Analyst will mentor and train outpatient coding staff while collaborating closely with management to enhance coding accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform documentation and coding reviews for compliance with coding standards and regulations
• Identify documentation and educational gaps to improve coding and charge capture accuracy
• Provide mentoring, training, and ongoing feedback to hospital outpatient coding staff

Required qualifications

• Associates degree in healthcare or business-related field with 3 years of coding experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of coding experience
• Certification as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC-H, or CPC
