Certified Coding Quality Analyst

Job Summary

Conducting documentation and coding reviews, the full-time remote Certified Coding Quality Analyst will ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations while mentoring and training outpatient coding staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct documentation and coding reviews for APC, ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Identify documentation and educational gaps and provide ongoing feedback to hospital outpatient coding staff
• Collaborate with the Coding Manager and Outpatient Coding Supervisor to support coding staff development

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business-related field with 3 years of coding experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of coding experience
• Certification as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC-H, or CPC
• Experience in conducting coding reviews and providing training or mentorship
