Certified Coding Quality Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Quality Auditor and Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with the clinical documentation team to review inpatient accounts and identify documentation improvement opportunities
• Ensures compliance with coding guidelines and regulations while assessing documentation components impacting quality metrics
• Develops educational strategies and tools to promote quality outcomes and supports interdepartmental collaboration

Required Qualifications:

• RHIT, RHIA, or CCS Certification
• Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist
• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field or an Associate's Degree with five or more years of healthcare coding experience
• Prior experience working with clinical documentation teams
• Strong personal computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
