Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Quality Specialist - IP Profee.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct complex retrospective analyses of medical records to identify coding and billing errors
Provide technical support and training to internal coding staff on compliance and documentation
Monitor coding quality and assist in improving coder productivity and accuracy

Required Qualifications and Education

Active coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA
5+ years of coding experience, specifically in Profee, E/M, ER, and IP hospitalist
1+ year of auditing experience
Experience with telecommuting and electronic medical records systems is preferred
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
