Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hospital Coding Quality Specialist - Outpatient.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct hospital coding accuracy reviews to ensure compliance and proper reimbursement
Collaborate with coding leadership to identify records for review and coder education opportunities
Participate in coding denial and appeal processes, ensuring timely responses to claims issues

Required Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field
CCS, RHIA, or RHIT certification from AHIMA
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital coding within a large healthcare system
Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT coding systems, and related guidelines
Experience with remote workforce operations
